Identity Level Change NLP

An identity level change, as defined in NLP needs to take place when someone is not reflecting the vision of who they are, their identity, in the way that they live.  They are not living congruently, it could be that they are saying one thing and doing or thinking another.

This type of incongruence is common as people tend to ‘drift’ along in life without reviewing whether we are getting exactly what we want.

As an example, someone might say “I am kind and loving.”  However their actions maybe reflect another thing.

To rectify this, change needs to take place at Identity Level in the Neurological Levels. This done the change will affect the levels below and automatically change certain values, beliefs, and behaviours.

How to solve the problem at the level of Identity

Simple NLP techniques can be used to effect Identity Level Change – The NLP Parts Integration and Timeline interventions are particularly useful. The interventions can be carried out with an NLP Practitioner or alone.

Both of these processes and the principles of Neurological Levels are trained as part of our live NLP training courses and also in our NLP online training programmes which you can access in our NLP training academy.
