Having spent over 20 years working as an Investment Adviser, manager and senior manager, Anthony holds a CII (Chartered Insurance Institute) certified Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning.
Anthony is also degree level educated in French, Spanish and Economics.
Anthony’s story so far in brief:
I have always been intrigued by the saying, ‘you can achieve anything if you put your mind to it.’ I set out to find out if it was true!
Shortly after finishing my student years in Newcastle and whilst doing some background reading in preparation for my first sales role, I encountered the field of Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP). NLP seemed to explain why this saying is true and it promised to provide a personal toolbox for success.
Not knowing any better I applied the principles of my learnings and found that they worked!! Going on to further reading in this area I discovered books, amongst others, by the now well known Anthony Robbins, and Stephen Covey.
Constantly fascinated by the possibilities for self development and contribution to others I continued to read, to learn and to put into practice these techniques. Success was just around the corner.
Driven to be the top sales person in the company, I modelled the success strategies of my peers, worked hard to understand my customers and their needs, and engendered a success culture amongst those working alongside me. Achieving my initial goal proved to be the first stepping stone to further and greater success as I sought to prove to myself that what I had achieved in my first sales role I could better in my second.
After little over a year in my second sales role I again became the top sales person in the company. This time in achieving my goal I broke all company sales records and delivered record income to my employers.
Now, by this time I had the evidence that I had the skills to go on to replicate these successes time and again but my desire to progress in my own personal development, to contribute to others success and my employer’s desire to capitalise on my skills and maximise their bottom line, led me to switch my focus from self to others. I took up my first management role.
Strangely, it seemed that what had proved so successful in my own sales career also proved to be successful for others! I worked with my teams to improve consistently their own individual income positions and as a result generate significantly greater income for their employers.
I spent ten years managing and coaching teams with tremendous success and by this stage I had built a wealth of knowledge, I felt that it was time to broaden my horizons and find routes to work with a wider diversity of people, make a greater contribution and make a bigger impact on the world, so this was when I set up Excellence Assured Ltd.
Since I started working at Excellence Assured I have had the pleasure to work closely with people from all industries and from all over the world. Nothing gives me greater joy than when people report to me how they have reached new levels of performance, new levels of happiness in their lives and new levels of success and income.
