NLP Future Pace

 

The future pacing technique is used in our NLP exercises in order to test the effectiveness of a change intervention.  Mentally rehearsing a future result so that the desired outcome automatically occurs. We use it in every exercise in our live NLP Training and NLP e-Learning programme.

Think through something in the future as if you are actually in the event now.  See what you will see, hear what you will hear and feel what you will feel, really get into that event now in your mind.

Pick a time in the future when, if it had happened in the past you would have previously displayed the old habit or have had the old thought. Be dissociated in the future. Rehearse the event in your mind. Make sure that you follow the new pattern.
